Vendors & Smart Templates
Speed up entry by associating specific behaviors with vendors.
How Templates Work:
Create a template for your local Bagel Shop.
Set Category: Food, Subcategory: Groceries, Source: Credit Card.
Next time you select that vendor, the rest is filled automatically.
Recurring Events Automation
01
Logic & Patterns
The checkboxes for days/months apply globally. For example: You can set a monthly tuition payment pattern, but uncheck July and August to prevent the system from creating transactions for those months.
02
Modifying Existing Events
Action: Changing a pattern will delete and recreate all unverified transactions associated with it.
Transactions marked as "Verified" or having a "Receipt" are protected—the system will never delete these during a pattern update.
03
Avoiding Duplicates
To ensure old transactions don't get messy when you update a pattern mid-month, set the "Start Date" of the new pattern to today.
